A redesign of the Rival pant meant evolving it into the new age that is 4-way stretch. 4-way stretch materials are now the norm and to have a race pant that is not utilizing them makes no sense. The process began with creating a much more durable 4-way stretch fabric that would withstand the demands and take the repetitive beatings athletes today put them thru. Adding non-stretch materials in key areas to keep durability high was step two. This new Rival pant is the old Zero pant on steroids. A durable 4-way stretch hybrid that gives the athlete the best of both worlds (using both stretch and non-stretch materials). This pant is for the athlete who destroys everything in their path. Those who want the durability of non-stretch materials but the fit and function of 4-way stretch.
- We moved to a new heavier weight, a much more durable 4-way stretch Poly material in the chassis that would be able to exceed all our athlete's demands
- We kept the current durable poly non-stretch material in high wear areas for added strength
- Added wrap-around mesh panels for air intake and heat exhaust
- Our experimentation with shoe technology has finally made its way to production. The knee areas on this new Rival pant have a durable shoe-tech TPU overlay for added protection
