Smith is certainly heading in the right direction thanks to the women’s ‘Compass’ helmet! Its sleek and elegant design is made possible through the use of inmold shell construction which is a polycarbonate shell with an EPS liner for increased strength and lightweight properties.
For the ultimate fit the Compass has been fitted with an adjustable X Boa system allowing extremely small adjustments for increased comfort but most importantly increased safety as a poor fitting helmet can sometimes do more damage that good.
To maintain the perfect temperature and reduce moisture build up from sweat Smith designers have utilised their exclusive airevac 2 ventilation system which channels cool air under and through the helmet taking warm moist air out of the helmet for improved visual clarity up on the mountain.
